But I tried to rate it fairly as you did a good job animating.Sound was good as well.
The voice in the beggining seems like the cliche narrator from a battle royal or something. The bullets of course have the slow motion and turbulence around them that we are so familiar with from the matrix.
Looking at that chainsaw I realized another problem.Ryobi does NOT make a gas powered chainsaw.Heres a few that do:Husqvarna, Stihl, Jonesred, Echo, Homelite, Poulan(not so good), Crafstman(Poulan with different stickers).I'd stick one of those names on your saw before you embarrass yourself further.
Besides that your movie looks good and should please everyone here that likes this sort of thing.
Author's Response:
Strangly enough i copied te chainsaw from a picture in the caterlog. I'm not sure if the picture i copied was fuel inject, it must be though, however it was definatly a Chainsaw by Ryobi... Thansk for the concern though, and i really would care if they didn't make gas chainsaws... it dosen't embaress me that i didn't go to the extreme and research the company.
This is just a cartoon that i'm making up, it's not a multimillion award wining production so i'm sure the fans won't mind what it has written on it.
Thansk anwyway, -Samus

"Chili peppers is about the only good part"
The rest of this flash drags itself haphazardly along like an alzheimers patient with legs removed.I say alzheimers patient because it apparently can't remember what plotline it was supposed to follow.
Truth to tell, the rantings of a naked crazed elder person thinking he or she is on a Vaudeville performance might have been a better idea.Sans the no legs part.We want them to dance as well.

"Looks great but I have some holes to point out"
Although the feel of this series is absolutely stellar I wonder how you would have a "scientist" 2000 years ago.Wouldn't they have been alchemists or at least wise men or something?Just a semantic but you should word it right I think.
Next, how would the guy who finds the book know to read what would surely be ancient aramaic or some other archaic and forgotten language.I would of course accept that he's a reincarnation of the "scientist" in question but make sure and cover that base.
And now my final grievance...The syringe in the end of the trailer.Looks suspiciously like the stuff in "Reanimator" that was used to render the dearly departed ambulatory again.Would a body snatcher of 2000 years ago have had a syringe even remotely similar to the one shown?I'm no archeologist but I tend to think he wouldn't.
Besides the, the narrators voice is cool and fits well.Your style of drawing where everything seems rusty and worn is great.I can't wait to see this series start in earnest.
Author's Response:
Thanks for giving my flash a constructive review sir.
About the scientist, yeah maybe I should have used Alchemist.
About the book, it is not directly told because viewers have to guess stuff... It just leave you with questions, and you have to guess. You're right tho about the reincarnation thing.
And the syringue, the syringue you see is modern. Because it is used in the present day. The guy only found the book, not all the stuff he needed to execute the thing. He didn't took a syringue from the past lol
Thanks again.

As the guy before me said, some of the scenes were lackluster.Add to that the sound which was very repetitive and low quality and you're not going to glean much of a score or following for long.
Put alot more time and effort into your next submission. This could be a great little series but you're not doing your own creation justice.Let's see the inspiration that triggered this idea.

Samus, why do you still do sticks? Is it like a calling or some strange obsession?I just think you're wasting yourself is all.
The musical score is MUCH better on this submission. It's not all just sticks either. There's real drawing here. The sticks for the most part are wonderfully animated and all but why not push yourselves and do something more involved?

Much like "Dragula" stick figures are tired. Now like the "Dragula" remix they are being hashed and rehashed.I'm pretty tired on sticks and I'm nauseated by FOB zombie.
I hope the second massacre is something worth watching.
Nice animating though

After that I have nothing bad to say about this submission besides the drawings take a turn for the worse about halfway in.Perhaps you had to rush?
It gives me hope for newgrounds to find a meaningful submission such as this sent to my inbox for once. This seems truly inpired and sincere for what it lacks in drawing technique.
Author's Response:
Wow, thanks! I know the drawing is somewhat lacking, I did kinda rush. ¬.¬

"Little rough but thrilling nonetheless"
Drawing and sound is a bit wonky. However this submission deserves high marks in my book for plot and character relation.
The animation itself is very good as you can see in the sequence of the monk training with himself.
I hope to see more very soon. You are on my favorites list now.
